International Street Dance Fest «OPEN UA VOL.4»
С 8 по 11 октября 2009 года в Киеве, на танцполе шоу-пространства SKY HALL (ЦД «Дивосвіт») пройдет четвертый Международный танцевальный фестиваль - International Street Dance Fest «OPEN UA VOL.4». Этот международный танцевальный контест проводится в Украине четвертый год подряд, и уже стал серьезной стартовой площадкой для участия в крупнейшем ежегодном танцевальном событии Европы - хип-хоп фестивале JUSTE DEBOUT во Франции. Поэтому в OPEN UA принимают участие самые сильные танцоры из таких стран, как Украина, Россия, Беларусь, Италия, Франция, Латвия, Молдова и Польша.
В 2009 году регламентом «OPEN UA VOL.4» запланировано присутствие в международном жюри, таких всемирно известных звезд танцевального искусства, как: MR. BYRON (Франция), JUNIOR ALMEIDA (Франция), MAMSON (Франция), ALEX RUSSO (Италия).
International Street Dance Fest «OPEN UA VOL.4» - это совместный проект продюсерского центра F&V PROMO GROUP и шоу-пространства «SKY HALL», объединивший за 4 года своего существования поклонников танцевального андеграунд-искусства из Киева, Харькова, Днепропетровска, Санкт-Петербурга, Москвы, Белгорода, Минска, Кишинёва и других крупных городов Украины, России, Беларуси, а теперь еще и таких стран ближнего зарубежья, как Латвия, Польша, Франция и Италия.
Впервые фестиваль состоялся в 2006 году в г. Сумы. На протяжении вот уже четырех лет «OPEN UA VOL.4» не только дает возможность андеграундным танцорам обучаться самым актуальным в Европе и США танцевальным стилям, знакомится с новыми направлениями, а также, демонстрируя свое мастерство во фристайле, достойно представлять нашу страну, на суд компетентного международного жюри. Hip-hop/new style, house, popping, locking, krump – те стили, ворк-шопы по которым проводят во время проведения OPEN UA звезды мировой величины.
Фестиваль является определенным этапом в развитии мастерства участвующих в нем танцоров. На площадке OPEN UA участники показывают все, что они уже умеют и чему смогли научиться во время воркшопов, соревнуясь между собой в форме импровизированных битв (батлов) и общаясь в дружеских поединках (джемах) под музыку ди-джея в непринужденной хип-хоп атмосфере…
В этом году в рамках проекта будет проводиться отбор лучших кандидатов по различным стилям для представления Украины на самом авторитетном европейском хип-хоп фестивале JUST DEBOUT, который ежегодно проходит во Франции.

Проект International Street Dance Fest «OPEN UA VOL.4» основан в 2006 году в Сумах, с 2008 года проводится в Киеве. За время работы накоплен успешный опыт проведения фестиваля и воркшопов (мастер-классов) для различных аудиторий, а также популяризации хип-хоп и хаус-культуры в Украине.
Миссия проекта – становление и развитьие танцевальной культуры в Украине. Повышение квалификации украинских преподавателей, танцоров, инструкторов танцевальных центров, школ и клубов. Привлечение в Украину лучших преподавателей со всего мира для обучения самым модным танцевальным направлениям. Содействие участию украинских танцоров в самых престижных европейских событиях, проходящих во Франции, Италии, Германии и других странах, для поддержания имиджа страны.

The fourth International dancing festival ‘International Street Dance Fest “OPEN UA VOL.4”
From October, 8 till October, 11, 2009 the Fourth International Dancing Festival – International Street Dance Fest “OPEN UA VOL. 4” is taking place on the dance floor of the show-space SKY HALL (leisure centre ‘Dyvosvit’). This international dance contest has been held in Ukraine the fourth year in a row, and has already become the serious starting point for participating in the biggest annual dancing event in Europe – hip-hop festival JUSTE DEBOUT in France. That is why the most professional dancers from such countries as Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Italy, France, Latvia, Moldova, and Poland take part in OPEN UA.
In 2009, it is regulated by OPEN UA VOL. 4 that the following world-famous stars of dance art are to be present in the international jury: MR. BYRON (France), JUNIOR ALMEIDA (France), MAMSON (France), ALEX RUSSO (Italy).
International Street Dance Fest “OPEN UA VOL. 4” is a joint project of the producing centre F&V PROMO GROUP and show-space SKY HALL, having united in 4 years of its existence fans of dance underground art from Kiev, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Saint-Petersburg, Moscow, Belgrade, Minsk, Chisinau, and other big cities of Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, and besides, so far such countries as Latvia, Poland, France, and Italy.
The festival was held for the first time in Sumy city in 2006. And for four years by now it gives an opportunity to underground dancers to get acquainted with the most up-to-date dancing styles in Europe and the United States, with the newest directions, and, apart from that, showing their skills in free-style, to introduce our country on a decent level to the qualified international jury. Hip-hop, new style, house, popping, locking, krump are those styles, in which master- classes are given by world-famous stars during the time of OPEN UA.
The festival is the certain point in developing skills of dancers who participate in it. On the stage of the OPEN UA the contestants show everything they can do and what they have learnt during the master-classes, competing between themselves in the form of improvised battles, and communicating in friendly jams to DJs’ music in a relaxed hip-hop atmosphere.
This year within the bounds of the project they will do the selection of the best candidates in various styles for introducing Ukraine on the most authoritative European hip-hop festival JUSTE DEBOUT, which is held in France annually.

The project International Street Dance Fest “OPEN UA VOL.4” was launched in Sumy in 2006, has been held in Kiev from 2008. During the time of its existence the successful experience in organizing the festival itself and master-classes for various audience was gained. And besides it has the important role in popularization of hip-hop and house culture in Ukraine.
The missions of the project:
establishing and developing dance art in Ukraine;
upgrading skills of Ukrainian teachers, dancers, instructors of dance centres, schools, and clubs;
